Income-Generating Activities that were expected to diversify to provide better access to the product market were central to the second phase.
AGRs were concerned with the sustainability of already established projects and the fight against poverty in rural areas. The need to diversify the products of AGRs in order to market them better and to avoid the strong competition which exists between several small traders was also put forward.
In the Province of Ifrane, 54 IGAs were carried out as part of the economic integration and job creation in the second phase from 2011 to 2016, with a global amount exceeding 8 million dirhams.
