8 local human development committees (CLDHs) exist in the province of Ifrane. These committees are placed at the local level and are chaired by the presidents of the communes concerned. They are constituted, according to a balanced tripartite representation, as follows:
- 5 members of the Ifrane Communal Council
- 5 members representing decentralized services
- 5 members representing the civil society
Roles and missions of the CLDH:
- Preparation of local initiative programs for human development
- Selection and evaluation of proposed projects as a part of human development initiatives
- Ensuring the convergencewith other sectoral programs
